In two weeks, I am moving to Seattle................



In two weeks, I am moving to Seattle.


What?


I have two days off between now and then, including today. 


I will be working at a drop-in center for homeless youth, doing street outreach and coordinating volunteers.



I am stunned, elated, and very overwhelmed.

Once I was on a bike ride with Becky and she described to me the phenomenon of "ripping her life off like a band-aid," a metaphor I gifted to Alia when she needed it, and am now re-gifting to myself.
